David Stocker has been a teacher for 17 years at City View Alternative School in downtown Toronto. Its mission is to deliver a social justice curriculum with a focus on activism to students in Grade 7-8. His first volume of Maththatmatters was winner of the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario Anti-Bias Development Award.
Richard Swift is a Montreal-based writer and activist and was a long time editor with New Internationalist magazine. He is the author of The No-Nonsense Guide to Democracy.
Kingston writer and Between the Lines co-founder Jamie Swift is the author, most recently, of The Vimy Trap: Or, How We Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Great War (with McMaster historian Ian McKay), finalist for the Shaughnessy Cohen Prize for Political Writing. Jamie is a founding member of the Kingston Action Group for a Basic Income Guarantee.
