The Art of Solidarity: Book Launch
Join us this Labour Day long weekend at the Workers Arts & Heritage Centre for a book launch co-presented with Between the Lines.
This event will feature readings from the editors and contributors of The Art of Solidarity: Labour Arts and Heritage in Canada; the opportunity to peek into WAHC’s permanent collection; refreshments from local favourites; and the chance to buy the book courtesy of King West Books!
The work featured in the book highlights the resilience and creativity of labour arts and heritage practitioners who, despite financial and organizational challenges, continue to amplify the voices and experiences of working-class communities.
