Join David Austin at the Paragraph Bookstore on October 29 for the launch of his two latest works: Dread Poetry and Freedom: Linton Kwesi Johnson and the Unfinished Revolution which explores the themes of poetry, political consciousness, and social transformation through the prism of LKJ’s work, and Moving Against the System: The 1968 Congress of Black Writers and the Making of Global Consciousness which celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Montreal Congress of Black Writers by bringin alive the speeches and debates of the most important international gathering of Black radicals of the era.
