Between the Lines, the Nova Scotia Environmental Network and the Ecology Action Center present the Halifax Launch Joan Kuyek’s new book, Unearthing Justice: How to Protect Your Community from the Mining Industry. Joan’s talk will be followed by a panel discussion on sustainable alternatives to mining, featuring Heather Johannessen of the Centre for Local Prosperity, Peter Puxley of the Campaign to Protect Offshore Nova Scotia and John Perkins of Sustainable Northern Nova Scotia.
